A grant of $2,500 will be awarded to suitable candidates for a 4 to 6 week study abroad French program. The Grant will give the recipient the opportunity to not only study the French language, but also expose the individual to French traditions and culture.
A grant of $3,500 will be awarded to a suitable candidate to pursue Liberal Arts studies. Liberal arts encompass the academic disciplines of literature, languages, philosophy, history, mathematics and science.
The grant will provide $4,000 each year towards the professional development of a competent and committed teacher. The grant will give teachers the chance to pursue enrichment opportunities around the world that will equip them to positively contribute to their students and school community.
The O.L.G.A. Foundation is a small entity that wants to make a big difference. Every Bahamian is a stakeholder in education. The quality and accessibility of education in The Bahamas is an issue which affects every Bahamian.
